Tags: Josefin Asplund Katheryn Winnick. I have enjoyed the Vikings series and knowing what I know about Viking history realize the poetic license needed to make this show more interesting. But to change Legertha to a lesbian is just dumb. There are no instances or historical precedents for doing this and again, we all must accept that PC rules over consistency and common sense. After the History Channel stopped doing real history documentaries and started focussing pseudo-scientific studies UFOs and the like as well as pseudo documentaries Pawn Stars which they achieve great successes with, they also tried out mini series. The Drama series Vikings is one of them. The first series was immediately able to win the audience over. In the USA the channel aired censored versions of the episodes which often used alternate scenes. Thus there is no nudity, and some of the violence during the battles was toned down. However, the latter scenes are already quite graphic and only slightly censored here and there. In France they decided to air the completely uncensored version of the series.
With the return of the History Channel's Vikings just around the corner, it is time to get excited about seeing the saga's hottest ladies again. Season four left off last April with a showdown between brothers Ragnar and Rollo. On November 30, the show will return, and so will the lovely Lagertha, Aslaug, Helga, and others. They play a variety of different characters who we always see in traditional outfits and often dirty, but in their everyday lives, they are ravishing.
It follows the life of Ragnar Lothbrok and his family as they go in search for new lands to conquer, eventually finding their way to the British Islands, France, and other parts of the known Western World at the time. I know there are a lot of Jon Snow fanboys out there, but in my opinion, Vikings is home to the most kickass cast on TV and arguably the best-looking one, too. If you follow the show you must know about Ragnar by now, the Viking farmer who ends up being crowned king of Vikings and ruling over all their known territories. The role is played by Travis Fimmel, who before entering the acting world was one of the biggest supermodels on the planet, made famous for his steamy Calvin Klein ads.
